Rambling Ridge

In search of a landscape worthy of this stunning site overlooking Asheville, the owners sought a sustainable, Japanese garden inspired design as well as a beautiful, functional and productive terraced slope incorporating vegetables and fruits, infused with color and texture throughout all seasons.  The project was a blank canvas transforming a basic landscape into an enchanted environment of journey and folly.  The landscape invites discovery and seeks to complement the attributes of the site while utilizing strategic plant choice (including natives) and placement to frame views and create micro environments.  This project created a stunning transformation of the property as shown in the before and after photos below.
