Our process is a hands-on approach from start to finish utilizing Design-Build to optimize the end result. Our goal is to design beautiful and functional spaces that you can enjoy while fitting your needs, budget, and lifestyle. Our design services range from master plans of large estates to small intimate garden designs and consultations. In the end, we develop a design that reflects a client's values and philosophy, while allowing the site and our experience to shape the result. Our process is a joyful and collaborative effort that achieves a meaningful landscape.
We collaborate with home owners, Architects, builders and contractors on new construction as well as working on existing properties, restorations or landscape refreshes. DISCUSS OBJECTIVES
We begin with a call to determine needs, scope and discuss the process. Next, the client completes the TTK DESIGN QUESTIONAIRE, followed by an on-site meeting to discuss, desires, priorities and expectations, and evaluate your property. We take photographs, measurements, and collect any plans you may have. We then prepare a design proposal that outlines the work to be completed, the schedule, and costs. After the landscape design proposal is accepted, a preliminary plan is prepared.
DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT
This stage includes site layout, concept ideas surrounding plantings and hardscapes, and any potential built-in structures. We will meet on site, and review the ideas of the landscape design concept/s. This stage includes layout, concept ideas that are proposed, and any on site structures. Once we are given the approval to proceed to the master plan preparation, we move forward. The master plan is a finalized detailed plan for implementation and includes a cost estimate.
IMPLEMENTATION
The master plan consists of specific plantings and hardscape materials with units and quantities needed. Many clients create their landscapes over time, so prioritization of areas in regards to phasing for efficiency and value are considered in this stage. After selecting specific plantings and
hardscape materials, we finalize costs
and proceed to installation using the most conscientious and experienced installation crews who we have been using for many years.

TTK Design is a Design-Build firm so we manage installation, implement, install and build, at any scale with our team and TTK Design crews or we can work with an installer or contractor of your choice for our designs. From extensive hardscaping to planting we do it all.

We use a Design-Build process. Based on the scope and scale we implement with our crew, or crew of your choice, hardscape builders, contractors or grading contractors. We work with you to find the highest quality solution at the best value and schedule to meet your needs. What size project is too small? Does TTK Design embark upon large scale projects with complicated drainage or slope issues?
We work on projects at any scale and engage civil engineering or permitting processes as necessary.How much will it cost?

Absolutely, we work with professional installers (without licensed or designers on staff) in need of a plan or design. We partner with you. We usually end up working on projects again and again together.
